About & Strategic Pillars

Rooted in the 11th Charge of the 4th Diocesan Bishop, the Education Foundation empowers vulnerable children, builds moral resilience, and provides holistic care across the Diocese of Nambale.

Founding Vision & Calling

An Enduring Covenant for Hope & Learning

The ACK Diocese of Nambale Education Foundation was conceived out of pastoral concern for bright, deserving children across our rural parishes whose education hangs in the balance due to severe economic hardships.

Established 15th May 2026

Born from the 11th Charge

During his Consecration and Enthronement Service as the fourth Bishop of the Anglican Church of Kenya Diocese of Nambale, the Rt. Rev. Isaiah Obuya sounded a clarion call to the Church and friends of Nambale.

He observed that countless sons and daughters who achieved exemplary marks in primary and junior secondary national examinations were unable to proceed to high schools, colleges, or universities because their families could not afford school fees, uniforms, and basic educational upkeep.

Grounded in this episcopal vision, the A.C.K Diocese of Nambale Foundation was formally launched on 15th May 2026. It operates as the official benevolent arm of the diocese, dedicated to providing educational scholarships, moral guidance, and practical humanitarian support.

Vision Bearer & Diocesan Shepherd
“We will endeavor to establish a foundation to cater for the education of the needy students in our parishes and churches. You realize that most of our sons and daughters who excelled in their exams are not able to proceed to the next level of education due to the inability of their parents to pay for their fees and other needs. Good friends, I urge you to strongly support this agenda if called upon. We will soon be rolling out the way forward.”
